Castro

So Castro had surgery and turned over power to his brother. How much power he was relieved of is a different story.

"A senior Cuban official insisted Castro's final moment was "very far away," despite his handing over power to his brother after surgery."

This could possibly be the beginning of some changes in Cuba. Most likely the transition will be very slow, since Castro is kind of still in power (but not really).

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see heavy US involvement in Cuba once Castro dies, but who knows.

Well of course the Jew-Ess-Eh is going to try and get Cuber--we've wanted it since the early 60s, and since the Sivet Union doesn't exist anymore, the government probably thinks that little "We promise not to invade Cuba" deal we struck doesn't count anymore.

Yea the government has a short memory doesn't it.

"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it."

The US in a nutshell.
